Meet Gospel New Recording Artists Tonya Ware!

From the artist that brought us the hit song, “ Put My Hand In Yours ”, a re-make of Marvin Winans, Sr. “ Song of Consecration”; Tonya Ware is a new rising Star. People all over the world are taking notice of her remarkable talent.

Tonya Hairston Ware, a native of Key West, Florida, was born to home missionaries. Her parents traveled throughout the United States pioneering and planting churches.

Tonya began singing at the age of six. When she was older, she accompanied her father as he went to minister. Tonya's father spent a great deal of time providing street ministry and ministry in local jails. He took her with him so she could sing before he preached to the inmates. As soon as she opened her mouth, the inmates would come to the front bars to hear the “little girl with the amazing voice.”

Now Tonya Ware is creating a major buzz in the music industry with her debut CD, Tonya Ware – “The Voice”. Tonya's passionate single release, “Put My Hand In Yours,” is standing-up to some of today's “hottest” music - both in mainstream and Christian markets. The production and sound quality are second-to-none.

“Put My Hand In Yours” soared to #10 on the Adult Contemporary FMQB charts and catapulted to #18 on the popular XM Radio Gospel charts! On July 13, 2008, Tonya was presented with a “Jackie” Award from the Mississippi Gospel Music Association for National Female Soloist of the Year . At the age of 18, Jonathan has been traveling and singing for more than half of his life. With a strong Christian family background, he has grown up in church. He accepted Christ at the age of seven years old. Shortly after, he began traveling and sharing his message of hope and encouragement through song. Starting at that young age of 8 years old he instantly began wowing the crowds with the energy and excitement he brought with him to the stage. And now nearly 10 years later, he still today is doing that very same thing.

Jonathan walked away winning nearly every talent competition he ever entered. He received great charting success, performed in front of thousands and thousands of people, hosting and performing on national television events, and traveling all across America. Yet, he still maintains the humble spirit he has, and gives every bit of the honor back to first the Lord and then his family and fans. His first Gospel CD was recorded at the age of 10. Since then he has recorded ten projects and one live DVD. Jonathan has done a bit of everything and been a little of everywhere. He’s had major success in the musical theater department and as well in the music industry.

Jonathan Jay Cox announced today (October 17, 2008)that he will be releasing a deluxe expanded deluxe edition of his lasted record Outside of Town. The CD will feature all original 11 songs plus 5 brand new songs. The original songs will have a new touch and feature some guest appearances from special friends. Jonathan recorded with his friend Eddie Swann of Regal Music Group.

Along with the new recording, Jonathan will debut his first book, "Inside, Outside of Town". It will be an inside look at each of the songs, pictures, along with thoughts and memories.
